Eshan Kavinda is a technology entrepreneur, systems architect, and digital innovation leader with a vision of building national-scale digital platforms that accelerate sustainable development through IoT, artificial intelligence, geospatial intelligence, satellite technologies, cloud computing, and enterprise software engineering. As the Chief Technology & Innovation Officer (CTIO) of the WHY National Digital Eco-System, he leads the design, architecture, and implementation of the platform's core technologies and innovation roadmap.

With extensive experience in software engineering, GIS, IoT, AI, and enterprise system development, Eshan has led the creation of several technology initiatives including the WHY Super App, WHY Geolume Insight, the WHY Satellite Data Processing Engine, AI-powered digital services, IoT Devices and smart agriculture solutions. His work focuses on transforming complex technologies into scalable, user-centric platforms that support businesses, researchers, farmers, communities and government.

Eshan is also an entrepreneur with interests spanning technology, agriculture, smart devices, tourism, manufacturing, apparel, digital commerce, and international trade.
